After the unfortunate Concorde crash at Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris in 2000, supersonic air travel had submerged. Today, Nevada’s Aerion Corporation brings it back with the announcement of their new $80 million Supersonic Business Jet. The super-fast executive plane aimed at billionaires of the world can do Mach 1.5 (1,840 km/h), taking just 4 hours to fly from NYC to Paris. The jet plans to have 50 seats, while the current prototype only has 12 seats. Aerion already has $4 billion dollars in pre-orders for the jet, expect them to hit the skies in 2014.
